When Covid began and all travel was cancelled, I felt trapped at home with little to do.  Spring of 2020 brought many migrating birds to my yard and I began to feed them as a way to have something beautiful to look at.  I soon realized I could photograph my little visitors and thus began my passion with backyard bird photography.  Perhaps one of the few positive thing to come out of our Covid year!  All photographs on this page were taken in my small backyard

in St. Louis County, MO
