"If you aren't in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?"  T.S. Elliot

After a life long fear of water, I learned to swim and then scuba dive at age 50.  It was honestly one of the most challenging things I've ever done!  It was several years before I was able to take a camera down with me, but once I took my first underwater photograph, I was completely hooked!  I love to share my underwater photographs to show what few people will ever be able to witness.  On every dive, I find myself overwhelmed with the complexity and diversity of life under the surface of the ocean.
